MacKinnons Foodland - Greely Grocery Store and Supermarket

Hi, I'm Blair MacKinnon. I own MacKinnon's Foodland in Greely.

We've been here in Greely, Ontario for going on 26 years - 25 at the old grocery store and a year in the new supermarket.

We worked on this new store plan for close to six years, and people have responded very well to what we have done. We also give service that you wouldn't get in some of the big grocery chains - I'm in the aisles, same as my son Scott, and if somebody asks for a product and we don't have it we'll try and get it.

Since we've expanded, we've gone from about 2,000 items in the old store, to 13,000.  We have a huge produce department, with almost every fruit and vegetable produce item that you would need.

The deli is much larger, as is our  meat department and selection of frozen foods. We also offer fresh goods from our bakery, and now carry a wide selection of flowers in our florist department, as well as greeting cards.

With a new beer, wine and liquor LCBO store within our supermarket in Greely, you can now shop in one place and save yourself about 45 minutes going into Ottawa and back.

We have a hot food take-out, and offer nacho platters, sandwiches, pizzas and all kinds of salads or party platters, and a wide selection of kabobs. 

MacKinnons Foodland is a grocery store in the community for the community. We are open 24/7 for all your shopping needs - plus a few extras!
